WCOW - Only Honey was shown here, she won a super Junior Class under Espen Engh.
NEWS - Both Honey and Fern were well placed at this Championship show.
Driffield and SYWC weekend - First shows with the pups now out of the puppy classes. Honey has gone into Junior and Fern has been put into the older Yearling class. At Driffield, Fern had a lovely VHC and at SYWC Honey won the really hot Junior class. Really proud of both these girls.
Sheringham & District KA. - The pups last show as puppies. In a quality entry, under Deryck Player, Honey was 1st Puppy, Fern 1st Junior, their mum Berry took Open Bitch. In the challenge, Honey took BOB & BPIB with Fern RBOB. Onto the group, Honey took both G1 and PG1. We then went into the BIS ring under Keith Smith ( Soberhill). Honey was declared RBIS and BPIS. This award also qualifies Honey for the prestigious East Anglian Super Match, her mum Berry also qualified for this event, once as a puppy and again as an adult. We are so thrilled with our lovely Honey. What a day!
Richmond - Fern again placed in a lovely PB class with Honey 3rd in Junior, then taking BPB in the challenge.
City of Birmingham - Really pleased with both girls, Fern in PB for the first time, took 2nd place behind the BPB. Honey giving away lots in age in GB took 2nd place.
The Hound Show - Under breed specialist Roger Stock ( Courthill), our wonderful Honey wins the Puppy Bitch class, is declared BPB and then, with the agreement of the dog judge, (Patsy Gilmour),goes on to win BPIB. This is Honey's second BPIB. She won her first from MPB at Bath.
Leeds-Another good day for the girls, both are awarded 2nd place in their respective classes.
East Of England-Another good day for Honey, she wins another excellent PB class. Judge Ben Reynolds-Frost.
Windsor-We were thrilled when our beautiful Fern was awarded BPB at this lovely show, Honey was well placed in her first puppy class from a huge entry of 19. Judge was breed specialist Pauline Oliver.
Norfolk & Norwich Premier Show-Another good day for the girls as Honey takes BPIB and PG3 with Fern being well placed in the higher Junior class.
Midland Whippet Club- Honey wins another MPB class, her last before she goes into PB.
Border Union - A great end to our holiday as Honey again wins MPB, both pups were also shortlisted in a massive stakes class of 72 entries with Honey gaining VHC.
Whippet Club of Scotland - A wonderful day for us as our beautiful Honey wins both the MPB class and also a large NB class, this completes her Junior Warrant at the very tender age of just 8 1/2 months. As we only attend one show a week we are thrilled that she has achieved this already. At this time Honey has had 8 Championship shows firsts. Fern was also placed in both her classes.
Three Counties - Both our puppies did very well at this lovely show under breed specialist Helen Wayman. Honey won another good MPB class and Fern was second in PB behind the eventual BPIB winner. These girls are still only 8 months old.
Southern Counties-We are delighted that our beautiful Fern was placed 2nd in a large puppy bitch class despite being against older puppies.
Bath- Our beautiful Honey has another successful outing. 1st MPB, BPB, BPIB and shortlisted in the puppy group. Breed judge was Emma North-Row. Fern gained 3rd in PB despite being still just 8 months old.
HCEA- Another super day, in very windy conditions, Honey wins puppy, is BPIB and then goes on to 3rd BPIS. Breed judge Fiona Officer, BIS judge Pamela Mottershaw
Thetford & District CS - Honey wins the strong junior class, is declared BPIB and goes on to gain PG3. Judge Sharon Rossiter.
NWA - Another lovely day as both pups are placed in each of their classes with Fern winning Undergraduate Bitch.
Norfolk and Norwich CS- Another lovely day for us. In beautiful warm sunshine and in a lovely big entry, Honey wins Puppy, Fern wins junior with Fern going on to gain BPIB and PG2.
NCWC - Under breed specialist Albert Ritchie, Honey is placed 1st in another huge MPB class and also wins MB. Her sister Fern, although competing in the higher PB class against older puppies, takes a 2nd place and is also 2nd in NB. Both puppies are now multi-qualified for Crufts 2012.
The Whippet Club - In a massive minor puppy bitch class, Honey and Fern are 2nd and 3rd respectively to qualify them both for Crufts. This is their first Championship Show. Honey also won Maiden bitch and Fern took 2nd Novice bitch.
The Houndshow Open show - What a fabulous start for our pups. Both girls win their classes and Honey goes on to win BPIB and BPIS at just 6 months and 1 day old. We are so thrilled with these girls. Breed judge Mrs Patsy Bird and BIS judge Mr Frank Borg. Picture above.
EAWC- Jazzy has a lovely win in PGB.
Berry produces a wonderful litter of six. Look out for her daughters in the ring in 2011.
East of England- Jazzy wins Post Graduate under judge Eleanor Bothwell and Berry is also placed in Open Bitch.
Whippet Club of Scotland-Another super day with Jazzy taking 4th place in Limit Bitch and Berry gaining another 3rd place in Open Bitch. Judge- Breed specialist- Mrs J McCleod.
Southern Counties- Berry does well again, having moved up to Open Bitch, taking 3rd place in a very strong large class.
NWA - Daisy made her first appearance in Veteran and was a creditable 4th, Jazzy got a VHC in her last yearling class that contained some really stunning bitches and our wonderful Berry showed her socks off to take an excellent Open class. Judge was breed specialist Anne Snelgrove.
East Anglian Super Match - Our first outing of the year and Berry reaches the quarter-final only to be beaten by the eventual runner up, a Champion American Cocker Spaniel.
